What are parents saying about the Hope Chicago Parent Scholar Program?
Mahallie Pool
“Being a Hope Parent Scholar means being a proud parent who not only supports their scholar, but a parent who sets goals and has a high aptitude for themselves. Being inspired to become a better person for your scholar and yourself.”
Veronica Segovia
“Para mi, ser un Hope Parent Scholar es una gran oportunidad para realizar un sueño! Es un reto, una manera de prepararme para retribuir a la comunidad de este gran país todo lo que he recibido.”
Coaching and Advising to Meet the Needs of Today’s Parents
Every registered Hope Chicago parent is assigned a Parent Success Coach (PSC) that serves as their primary contact. PSCs support all Hope Parent Scholars throughout their enrollment and persistence journey.
PSCs are assigned based on chosen pathway or interest and preferred language. We partner with Instituto del Progreso Latino to provide coaching and advising to certain parents. Hope Parent Scholars can receive communication from their PSCs in English or Spanish.
